Anthony Davis Cleared For Limited Individual Basketball Activities

Anthony Davis was reevaluated Wednesday by Dr. Steven Shin of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles as he is currently out with ligament damage in his left hand. Davis continues to progress as expected and has been cleared to begin limited individual on-court basketball activities.

Davis will be reevaluated in two weeks, and further updates will be provided at that time.

The Washington Wizards acquired Davis from the Dallas Mavericks at the trade deadline and he has yet to appear in any games with his new team.

Davis appeared in 20 games with the Mavericks this season, averaging 20.4 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 31.3 minutes.
