James Harden, Donovan Mitchell Miss Loss To Pistons

James Harden and Donovan Mitchell missed the Cleveland Cavaliers' 122-119 overtime loss to the Detroit Pistons on Friday.
Both players have now missed two straight games. Mitchell is currently day-to-day with a strained groin.
"We don't love soft tissue injuries, obviously," head coach Kenny Atkinson said on Friday. "The feedback I'm getting is that it's not a long-term thing."
Harden has not played since fracturing his thumb on Tuesday. Atkinson said that Harden was still feeling discomfort.
"I know this morning he was struggling a little, just dribbling," Atkinson said. "I mean, the thing's broken. ... If you have a hard time dribbling and catching, that's [tough]."
It was reported earlier this week that Harden plans to play through the injury, though the Cavs want him to get to a place where he can tolerate the pain.
Keon Ellis also missed the game with a fractured index finger, with Dean Wade sitting out with a sprained right ankle.
