Jaren Jackson Jr. Undergoes Knee Surgery, Will Be Re-Evaluated In Four Weeks

Jaren Jackson Jr. underwent knee surgery to remove a growth in his left knee, the Utah Jazz announced on Tuesday.

Jackson will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

It was reported last week that Jackson is expected to miss the rest of the season.

The Jazz acquired Jackson from the Grizzlies at the trade deadline. A post-trade physical revealed a localized pigmented villonodular synovitis growth.

Jackson is averaging 19.4 points and 4.7 rebounds on the year.
