Joel Embiid Out Thursday Versus Hawks With Sore Shin

Joel Embiid is set to miss the Philadelphia 76ers' matchup against the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday due to a sore shin.

Embiid experienced the soreness while managing his right knee injury over the All-Star break.

Embiid is receiving daily treatment and continues to progress in his on-court work.

The center will be re-evaluated ahead of back-to-back games this weekend against the Pelicans and Timberwolves.

Embiid also sat out three out of the last five Sixers' games heading into the break. The Sixers have lost six out of seven games without Embiid.
