Khris Middleton To Decide Whether He Wants To Remain With Mavs Or Seek Buyout

The Dallas Mavericks are letting Khris Middleton decide whether he wants to stay with the team for the rest of the season or get bought out of his deal, sources told Marc Stein of the Stein Line.

Middleton could potentially join a contending team should he get waived before March 1.

The Mavs have also reportedly expressed their desire to have Middleton on the roster for next season.

Middleton is set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer.

The forward is averaging 10.9 points and 4.0 rebounds on the season.
