Lauri Markkanen Undergoing Testing For Ankle, Hip Injuries

Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen is set to undergo further testing for a pair of injuries. Markkanen will have both a right ankle and a right hip injury evaluated. The Jazz forward is set to undergo an MRI, but it's not unclear if that MRI is for the ankle, hip or both injuries.

Utah was recently fined $500,000 for overt actions towards tanking games. This including holding player out of fourth quarters of close games, as well as players being inactive for games. Subsequently, the Jazz announced that Jaren Jackson Jr. and Jusuf Nurkic are both undergoing season-ending surgeries. Jackson is having a growth removed from his knee, while Nurkic is undergoing a surgery on his nose.
