Mark Williams Out 2-3 Weeks With Stress Reaction In Left Foot

The Phoenix Suns continue to be hit with injuries to starters. With Dillon Brooks already down due to a fractured left hand, the Suns have now lost starting center Mark Williams. Phoenix says Williams will miss two to three weeks due to a stress reaction in his left foot.

"It just popped up," Suns head coach Jordan Ott said of Williams' diagnosis. "(Wednesday) when he came in, day in between games, just had a little soreness. Went to have an image and you saw the news. ... There wasn't a moment where you can see visibly that this is the result of."

After years of missing large chunks of time due to injuries, Williams had stayed largely healthy for Phoenix this season. The fourth-year veteran has played in 56 games this season and has averaged 11.6 points and 8.1 rebounds.
