Mavs Waive Tyus Jones

The Dallas Mavericks are waiving Tyus Jones, sources told Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
Jones, who was acquired at the trade deadline, will be playoff-eligible for his next team.
The Mavs could convert Ryan Nembhard to a standard NBA contract with the open roster spot.
Jones is averaging 3.1 points and 2.6 assists on the year.
Khris Middleton is still deciding whether he will seek a buyout from the Mavs, with the Nuggets reportedly interested in the forward.
