Nuggets Sign David Roddy To Two-Way, Waive Tamar Bates

David Roddy and the Denver Nuggets have agreed to a Two-Way deal. In a related move, the Nuggets have waived Tamar Bates.

Roddy, a 6'5 forward, played in 33 games last season with the Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers.

In 35 games this season with Raptors 905, Roddy has averaged 12.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 27.6 minutes.

Roddy, who was the 22nd overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft, is represented by Josh Beauregard-Bell.

Bates hadn't appeared in any games with the Nuggets, but did averaged 19.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 33.2 minutes across 13 G League games with the Grand Rapids Gold.
